One day Tax Conference is being organised by AIFTP Central Zone jointly with Madhya Pradesh Tax Consultants Association and Tax Bar Association, Jabalpur at Hotel Vijan Mahal, Jabalpur on 25th May, 2024 in which Hon’ble Justice Vivek Agrawal Judge MP High Court has been invited as Chief Guest. Sr. Advocate Ganesh Purohit our Past President has blessed as Patron. Our thanks to Adv. Hemant Modh, Conference Chairman and his team for commendable efforts. My compliments to Adv. Vijay Naulakha, Chairman, Central Zone, Sr. Adv. Sumit Nema, President MPTCA; Adv. Poonam Jain, President, TBA-Jabalpur, Adv. Anand Koushal, Patron, TBA-Jabalpur Adv. Laxman Kashyap, Secretary, Central Zone, Adv. SS Thakur, General Secretary, TBA- Jabalpur, Adv. KK Kesharwani, Patron TBA- Jabalpur and all members of the organizing team of NTC. I also thank Adv. Samir Jani, Deputy President, CA Rajesh Mehta, NVP and other office bearers and members of NEC as well as all the learned Speakers conducting various sessions on Income Tax and GST. Western Zone is organising with Tax Practitioners Association Thane and other associations a One Day Seminar on Corporate and Taxation Laws at R-Nest Banquets, Thane on 15th June, 2024. Thanks to CA Vijay Kewalramani and his team for admirable efforts.

AIFTP has planned an International Study Tour to Malaysia under the able leadership of CA Surendra Kumar Rungta, Chairman of the Committee from 30th June, 2024 to first week of July, 2024. The Study Tour is limited to 60 participants.

East Zone has also organised a programme with ITAT on 18th May, 2024. One day Conference “Gyan Varsha” is being organised at Diamond Jubilee Town Hall, Berhampur on 30th June, 2024. Thanks to Sr. Adv. Bibekananda Mohanti, Zone Chairman and entire organising team of EZ.

A number of activities have been organised since last edition of our AIFTP Journal. North Zone organised National Tax Conference with Haryana Tax Bar Association in Gurugram on 27th & 28th April, 2024 at Radisson Hotel, Gurugram. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Surya Kant, Judge Supreme Court graced as our Chief Guest. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia, Acting Chief Justice, Punjab & Haryana High Court was our Guest of Honour. Past Presidents Sr. Advocate Premlata Bansal and Adv. DK Gandhi also graced. Our Dy President Adv. Samir Jani, Vice Presidents Adv. Vinayak Patkar & Adv. Pradosh Pattnaik Secretary General Adv. RD Kakra, Mr. Anuj Bansal and many members of NEC actively helped. The topics for technical sessions on Income Tax as well as GST are very relevant. Congratulations to Adv. Sandeep Goyal, Chairman, North Zone and his colleagues. The AIFTP book “Law of Evidence and Cross-examination in Tax and Allied Laws: Frequently Asked Questions”  was released by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Surya Kant, Judge Supreme Court. Dr K. Shivaram edited the book and it is dedicated to Late NM Ranka our Past President of the AIFTP. Our gratitude to Adv. Nikita Badheka Chairperson, Publications Committee and all the learned authors. The book is published by Taxmann Publications.

A One day Tax Conference was organised by AIFTP with Central Gujarat Chamber of Tax Consultants, Anand VAT Tax Bar Association, Bharuch District Federation of Tax Practitioners at Grand Mercure Surya Palace, Vadodara on 4th May, 2024. Hon’ble Justice KA Puj former Judge of Gujarat High Court graced the NTC as Chief Guest. Past Presidents Sr. Advocate Premlata Bansal and Adv. Nikita Badheka also graced. It was organised with active support of Adv. Samir Jani (National Deputy President), Adv. Vinayak Patkar (NVP-WZ), Adv. Shasank Mithaiwala, Zone Chairman WZ, Adv. Bhaskar B Patel, President Emeritus, CGCTC, Adv. Vijay J Shah. Adv. Nakulesh Patel, Adv. Dipak Amin, Adv. Kalpesh Jaiswal, Adv. Himanshu Vaghela (Conference Chairman), TP Kaushik Vaidya, CA Fayzan Dabhoiwala, CA Chintan Joshi, TP Dhananjay Dhadankar, Adv. Hiren Mehta and their team. More than 350 delegates participated.
