We have completed the first three months of the year 2019. The first three months have been full of activities. In the first three months, we organised 2 National Tax Conferences at Aurangabad and Ranchi. The Ranchi Conference was very successful both from the point of view of delegate participation as well as technical sessions. The hospitality was superb. Now we are having a 2 day National Conference at Pune on 10th and 11th of April, 2019. A number of one day seminars are also being organised all over the country.

In the National Executive Committee meeting at Ranchi, the AIFTP Disciplinary Rules were approved. In order to maintain uniformity in the AIFTP Awards, the new AIFTP Award Guidelines were approved. The aforesaid guidelines shall help in selecting the awardees in a better way.

The biggest festival of democracy, the Lok Sabha Elections are going on. We, as citizens of this Country, have a duty to participate in the festival by casting our votes and choosing the best candidates for the next five years who can take the Country ahead. We have a lot of expectations from the new Government that all the difficulties and problems in the implementation of tax laws in the country shall be looked into seriously and measures shall be taken immediately for taking corrective steps.
