Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Trust you enjoyed the summer with your loved ones and had nice time in vacation.

It is now that we have to cover the lost time and back to hard work. The deadlines are approaching fast for professional work, it is time for our children to tighten their belts as schools are going to start from 1st July.

We at AIFTP are getting ready for Amritsar Conference and look forward to meeting many of our fellow members. Friends who have never been to Amritsar shall have great experience as you will get the feel of our past and history of independence at Jalianwala Bhag. The great sacrifice of the men and women against the whims and fancies of British Officers i.e., General Dayer.

The line dividing two countries at Wagha Border. The Golden temple and Harminder Saheb may refresh the memory of great saints and example of communal harmony as the plinth stone was laid by muslim brothers.

It will also refresh your memory of operation Blue Star by the security personnel and resultant loss of a great Indian leader Smt. Indira Gandhi.

We had enough of history, now in our fraternity Dr. M. V. K. Moorthy is working hard on the GST front to get the rightful rights of our Tax Practitioner brothers and sisters. Let us keep our fingers crossed for the outcome.

It is our bounden duty to advise our clients properly and motivate them to declare their income correctly to avoid the complications in future. Now for coming three months apart from GST returns all our friends will be busy in uploading the I.T. returns, care must be taken to compare the income with Form 26AS. Please do remember that now GST returns are linked with PAN number, there should be no discrepancy in turnover shown in GST and reported to I.T. authorities. We must make it sure before uploading I.T. returns.

I wish happy joyful July with cool rains and all around greenery to all of you.
